Crystal Bridges is Alice Walton's free, Moshe-Safdie-designed American-art museum: a destination that belongs in the same sentence as the Getty or SFMOMA, somehow sitting in a wooded ravine in NWA. The permanent collection is a one-room survey of American painting. Pair with a walk on the Art Trail and lunch at Eleven. Non-negotiable first visit.

Leave Bentonville by 9, back by 3.
