Every show worth leaving the house for in July
Post Malone at Razorback Stadium, four big AMP nights, Lord Huron at the Momentary, and a week of Moulin Rouge. The July live calendar, from our events board.
July in NWA sounds better than it has in years
The Walmart AMP booked out the month, Post Malone took over Razorback Stadium, and the Momentary landed one of the best live acts going. Here is the July calendar worth planning around, straight from our events board.
The stadium show
Post Malone brings the BIG ASS Stadium Tour to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville on Sunday, July 12. A stadium show of this size is still rare here. Expect the traffic to match.
The AMP, four Fridays deep
Rogers carries the rest of the month. The Australian Pink Floyd Show plays the Walmart AMP on July 18. Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band brings the Margaritaville tour through on July 22. Turnpike Troubadours, the closest thing Oklahoma has to a house band for Arkansas, land on July 26. Darius Rucker closes the month on July 31 with the Songs of Summer tour.
Lawn seats at the AMP remain the best deal in NWA live music. Bring a blanket.
The Momentary gets Lord Huron
Lord Huron plays the Momentary in Bentonville on Tuesday, July 21, with The Army, The Navy opening. The Momentary green is a different kind of night than the AMP: smaller, closer, art museum on one side and food trucks on the other.
Theater, if that's your speed
The touring production of Moulin Rouge runs at Walton Arts Center's Baum Walker Hall in Fayetteville from July 9 through July 13, with evening and matinee performances across the run. Fayetteville gets Broadway tours for a week at a time; this is the one for July.
And the fireworks
The July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at the Walmart AMP starts at 8:00 PM on the 4th. If you are reading this after the fact, you heard it.
Dates and venues above come from our live events board, which pulls from Ticketmaster daily. Check the events page before you drive; tours move.
